This year, the beloved Man of Steel
is turning 42 years old on May 5, and to celebrate this important day, Zach Snyder took to the platform X to give a special message to Cavill. Sharing a picture of the actor in his Superman costume, perhaps from the filming days, Snyder wrote in the caption, “Happy Birthday to my friend, amazing actor, and greatest Superman of all time”,
and as hashtags added the abbreviation of all of Cavill’s DC movies.

Henry Cavill and Zack Snyder joined the DCEU in the past decade, and this actor and director duo delivered some cinematic masterpieces with their collaboration in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League,
and Zack Snyder’s Justice
. But Cavill delivered a massive heartbreak when he announced that, after discussion with the studios, he would no longer play the character. Last year, speaking about the unfair treatment the actor received from the studios and the robbed opportunities, Snyder said, “It would be great to have more Henry. I always think you could have more, Henry.”

When he was cast I didn’t see him as the role, nothing against him just didnt feel right, but he owned it and now it’s hard to not see him as Supes. Same thing as Geralt. He made me eat crow and enjoy it.

With his adorable family to take care of and many projects waiting for him, he has his hands full.
