, now Ye, once dedicated his life to the American Dream. But with time is passing, the rapper lost just as much, including his billion-dollar status, coupled with the dream that pocketed the big bucks. Although the Atlanta native returned to the music industry despite losing it all, the Renaissance man has since left his stardust, bridging the gap between the East and the West, with all his progressive updates surfacing from infinite rounds of Tokyo drift.
While many may have wondered what made him roll the side-eye to the land where the sky is the limit, a source alleges it may have had to do primarily with the State-stamped harassment that Japan is yet to take its crash course from.
Why is Ye living in Japan instead of the US?
According to an exclusive source speaking to In Touch, Ye is not
losing his sleep over the quintessential American dream because he has found his holding in Japan. Having been consistently under surveillance and criticism over his never-ending rants, and outrageous comments in the US, the source claims his life in Japan acts in contrast with things being much easier for the rapper.
“He doesn’t get hassled and he can be himself,”
the insider said.
Ye has reportedly spent half the year traveling with Bianca Censori, with Tokyo playing their often-ventured pit stop. The ‘Vultures’ artist’s persistent treading in Japan has even linked him with prominent connections. As a result, “he adores the culture,”

Is Ye settling once and for all in Japan?
As per In Touch’s latest report citing an exclusive source, what attracts Ye most about Japan is that he is “still able to see his kids,”
giving him an opportunity to show his little ones a life beyond the celebrity bubble of the US. The rapper recently linked up with Saint, Psalm, and Chicago West for a 7-Eleven shopping spree
, followed by a food day out with his eldest of the four, North West. Consequently, the insider added that Ye “sees nothing wrong with making his permanent home so far away.”
has lamented about solo parenting her children because of the ever-absent Ye. However, a source speaking to Daily Mail previously reasoned saying, his absence in the US has less to do with the kids and more with the multiple lawsuits. According to the first insider, although Ye promised Kardashian that he would return to LA, he may have had a change of heart with Japan possibly becoming his permanent abode. Hence, despite her opposition, Kardashian may have to concede to his wishes after all.
