, starring Julianne Moore, was reportedly filmed in real-life locations throughout New York State. The Cliff House grounds in Sirens
are part of the Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve, while the small beach town where Devon initially pulls in to find Simone is Lloyd Harbor in New York
. The upscale interiors of Cliff House were created on a soundstage at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn, New York.
Felix Solis, who portrays Jose in Sirens
on Netflix, tells Tudum, “The home is a big character on the show.”
After Solis was informed that the set was based on a real person’s home, he had questions about the people who lived before and whether they were the same people now. Devon and Simone, before Cliff House, are best described as “sisters from Buffalo.”
