John Mulaney returns to Netflix live Wednesday, but this time with his own late-night talk show.
The self-deprecating, stand-up comedian joked his 12-week talk show “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” is “absolutely nothing new” but is still worth tuning in for live on the streamer.
“We will have a host in a suit taking calls from viewers. It’s Netflix’s commitment to embracing the 20th century,” Mulaney said during January’s Next on Netflix event. “There is absolutely nothing new about what I’m doing but, by taking a lot of elements other people have already done and doing them out of order, it feels new and that’s what’s important.”
The series comes after the success of “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA,” which aired for a brief six-episode run during the 2024 Netflix is A Joke Festival. Richard Kind will return for the new installment of the series as the its announcer.

“Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” officially premieres live on Wednesday, March 12 at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT. The series will air every Wednesday for 12 consecutive weeks through May 28.

Yes, each episode will feature new guests. Mulaney hosts the show each week with comedian Richard Kind joining him as the show’s announcer.
“Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney” will kick off its debut show with guest appearances from Michael Keaton, Joan Baez and Fred Armisen. Hip hop group Cypress Hill will perform during the debut episode, with personal finance columnist Jessica Roy also making an appearance.
