Netflix’s Under a Dark Sun
(Qui sème le vent
) flips the idyllic countryside, flower farm, lavender fields, and leisurely afternoons’ idea of Provence all upside down. What one may witness instead might be a gripping thriller where secrets bloom darker than the night. When Alba, a mother on the run, lands a job at a flower farm, she is about to discover that beneath the beauty lies a tangled web of secrets, betrayal, and danger of ties she would so desperately seek support of.
Secrets bloom as darkly as the night, promises twist, family creates drama, the chilly air haunts long after the last door is closed. With secrets as dark and thick, individuals with just as much grit are needed to hold them up.
