After nearly two years of pure musical magic, sparkly costumes, star-studded galore, friendship bracelets trading and the unusual intimacy cultivated among Swifties – Eras Tour has officially come to an end. The tour has left a huge impact on the cultural landscape and will forever be remembered as an extraordinary chapter in Taylor Swift
’s career. But, along with all the zeal that the Eras Tour has given fans, there is also a tinge of disappointment. It appears that the pop star may have put a damper on certain things with the tour, that her fans once enjoyed.
Right after the Eras Tour drew its final curtain, Swifties on X initiated a new trend- “Things Taylor RUINED
”. This trend originated from the realization that there are many songs of Taylor Swift that will not be the same for fans after they heard the live versions in Eras Tour. Whether it was the energy of the crowd, the production, the interesting tweaks that the songstress is known for making, or simply the magnificent manner in which Swift performed her songs on stage, there are many songs that were even better at the concerts than on the albums.

That was, however, not the only way Taylor Swift ruined fans following Eras Tour’s closure. After the tour’s final concert, as the Grammy-winning singer shared a series of pictures with her dancers and other touring companions, with a heartfelt quote from her track, ‘All Too Well,’ emotional fans took to the comments blaming the pop star for ‘ruining’ them and making them ‘bawl’. While they will eventually get over the grief of having to see the greatest tour end, they do not think their fan-favorite Taylor Swift songs will ever be the same on streaming.
Fans are now criticizing (not really) Taylor Swift for ameliorating her own songs on the Eras Tour in ways that has reduced the charm of her originally recorded music a notch.
Fans blame Taylor Swift for running their favorite songs post-Eras Tour
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour ended with a historic $2 billion business. The only other tour to have crossed the billion-dollar mark before this was Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour- and it took the band two and a half years to do so. Meanwhile, Swift has done it faster and better with her unmatched global appeal. Despite the historical milestone, Swifties have a lot to complain about the tour, or so it seems.

Fans grumbled about their Taylor Swift playlist lacking the magic of its live version.

There is a lot of curiosity surrounding Taylor Swift’s next move, now that the tour has ended. But if insider reports are to be believed, she will not be making any moves career-wise for some time and spend time enjoying the winter holidays with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce
. Nonetheless, for Swifties missing the Eras Tour’s live songs, they can still find some comfort in Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour
concert movie.
