As “The White Lotus” Season 3 ramps up the drama, more viewers are tagging along, with Episode 6 hitting a series viewership high.
Episode 6, which aired on Sunday, March 23, scored 4.2 million viewers across HBO and Max, according to internal data from Warner Bros. Discovery. Season 3 Episode 6 marked the biggest audience an episode of “The White Lotus” has drawn in on its Sunday debut night throughout the course of its three installments.
Viewership for Episode 6 outpaced the previous series high set by the Season 2 finale, which tallied 4.1 million viewers across HBO and Max on its premiere night on Dec. 11, 2022.
Episode 6 saw a 75% jump in viewership from the Season 3 premiere, which brought in 2.4 million viewers, which was up 57% from the Season 2 premiere. Season 3 Episode 2 subsequently scored 3.4 million viewers across HBO and Max, matching viewership for Episode 4. Viewing figures for Episode 5 have not been released by Warner Bros. Discovery.
Season 3 of “The White Lotus” is currently averaging over 5 million viewers more than last Season 2, which ending up averaging 15.5 million viewers per episode in the U.S. With each new episode this season, “The White Lotus” has scored an all-time global viewing high for the series.
On Max alone, “The White Lotus” was the most-watched title last week both globally and in the U.S. And on social media, the show was in the top 10 trending topics on X for 10 consecutive hours in the U.S.
After last week’s fifth episode saw an illicit kiss between brothers Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola), as well as an intense monologue from surprise guest Sam Rockwell, Episode 6 escalated the incest storyline even further. The episode saw the fallout from the full moon party, with Saxon getting glimpses of his drug-filled night and hookup with Chloe (Charlotte Le Bon) and … his brother.
