Wilson and Vera Farmiga are ready to reprise their roles one last time as Ed
Warren and Lorraine Warren in the fifth instalment of the movie,

Conjuring: Last Rites.

In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly

, the onscreen pair not only shared the first look from the movie but also looked back on their journey of filming the franchise. Speaking about her pairing
with Wilson, Farmiga said,
“That’s just the absolutely best arranged
marriage in the history of arranged marriages.”

Farmiga
continued about the great rapport she shares with Patrick Wilson, saying,
“I’m
going to miss Patrick most of all,

” and elaborated that she will miss him
as a fun scene partner who understands her kind of neurology and who vibes
with her brain. Farmiga also added that she is blessed to have had
him by her side, who made all of these
“life-zapping, exhausting
exorcisms feel like a family barbecue.”

Not just Vera Farmiga, but Patrick Wilson, who partially carried the
franchise on his shoulders for a decade, is nostalgic about its ending.

make this finale a spectacular experience, thinking
, “How shamelessly big can we make it? How
epic can we make it?’
