According to The National Enquirer in 2015 via Daily Mail, when
Taylor Swift commenced the ‘1989’ tour, she reportedly had a whopping $40 million leg insurance.
While A-listers have insured their body parts before, the rumor sounded crazy, especially because of its link with the pop princess. A source reportedly said, “It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something were to happen to her legs, Taylor wouldn’t be able to give her signature stage performances.”
That could sound like trouble for the self-made billionaire
whose primary source of income is her luminous career. However, according to Daily Mail, Swift, who thought her legs would be worth a million, was actually “embarrassed
” to find out the reality. While the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer did not directly address the rumors, she shared a cheeky Instagram post, showing a leg scratch.
“GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS,”
she captioned the snap.
