With Netflix’s trademark series’ coming to an end over the past year, the streamer finds itself at a crossroads as to whether they churn out more spinoffs from their already popular shows or whether to start on a completely new slate. While Netflix deals with the conundrum, fans of the forgotten gem, Shadow and Bone
, have a proposal to make, and it does not involve bringing back the show.
Surprisingly, Netflix’s adaptation of the popular book series Shadow and Bone by Leigh Baradugo, managed to tickle the audience’s favor, only for the streamer to cancel the series just two seasons in. The official announcement came in 2023, but fans are still keeping their hopes up as they demand a Six of Crows

Given how Netflix still continues to churn out season after season and spinoff after spinoff of adapted series’ that have the audience raging over source inaccuracy, it does come as a shock that the streamer not only shut down Shadow and Bone
but also rejected its spinoff, Six of Crows
.
With the fanbase still going strong and the room for the trademark Netflix show’s being open, the demand for a Six of Crows
spinoff is at an all-time high.

Released back in 2021, Shadow and Bone
falls under the category of Netflix shows that quickly rose to become the audience’s favorites, only for the subsequent season to not meet the same ranks akin to The 90s Show
. However, with the cry for a spinoff still being as loud as ever in 2025, perhaps Netflix could give it another shot.

One of the major reasons behind this demand happens to be the badass character by the name of Inej Ghafa, who seems to have fans in a chokehold.

Other than that, fans are still enamored by just how much of a masterpiece the show was, and hope for the makers to push for a spinoff.
