about the first day on the Sinners
set with the lead, Michael B. Jordan. Reflecting on his initial emotions shooting a scene with Jordan, Caton revealed what a gem of a person the actor truly is.

As per Caton, Jordan was not just a co-star but a helping hand throughout the process. “He’s always willing to give me advice and help me with different acting techniques,”
he mused. Yet, something about the first day still hits home for the youngster. Coming onto the set on the first day, Caton was on a self-allotted mission to remember each and every line by heart. However, it did not take him long to understand that “you can’t be afraid to make mistakes.”

Caton spent his childhood binge-watching cult classics like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street,
and A Vampire in Brooklyn.
Consequently, “that stuff never really bothered”
him. Instead, those were the things he kept in his mind the most, joining the Sinners
. According to Caton, the creative process was absolutely wholesome, and “getting to see the special effects was pretty cool.”
All in all, it gave Caton enough reasons to keep coming back, horror genre or not.
