Pete Davidson in The Home trailer

Lionsgate Movies recently rolled out James DeMonaco’s highly anticipated horror flick, The Home’s

trailer, starring Pete Davidson. The trailer runs for over a minute, in which Davidson is on his first day on the job at an eerie retirement home.

All his employers ask of him is that he leave the place just as he found it and not go up on the fourth floor since “those patients need special care.”

But what is a horror movie without a curious tale gone wrong?

That is exactly what happens with Davidson. After a retiree points out the suspicions surrounding the home, Davidson goes around, poking at things he should not be. Soon bodies covered in blood free fall from windows and the patients roaming around now look more horrific than they had. Eventually he is seen tied to a bed with his mouth gagged and a needle coming towards his pupil. While the trailer does not give in, one can only hope Davidson does not give up.
