“Not allowed to say”- ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Showrunner Fans the Flames of Taylor Swift Cameo With a Latest Hint

After eight years and six seasons of a very successful run, The Handmaid’s Tale

is recently turning the final chapter on the American dystopian story. In its finale, this brilliant Margaret Atwood literary adaptation wrapped up many loose ends but also managed to set out a new fire, which has all of the Swifties putting on their detective caps and searching for their pop queen in the middle of red-capped figures.

Fanning the flame of this massive Taylor Swift

speculation is the series maker, who has left the fans scratching their heads after his latest statement on the matter.

The Handmaid Tale’s creator has set the trail of Taylor Swift cameo speculation on fire

As the series says its final goodbye to the fans on May 27, creator Bruce Miller sat down for an interview with Variety

to discuss all things Handmaid. When asked about a particular scene from episode 9 in which some fans noticed a character shot from behind and theorized that it was Taylor Swift herself, he replied with a cocky statement, “I can’t say anything. I’m not allowed to say anything.”

When told that his answer only made things worse, the creator took a page from the Marvel cast’s book and indulged in a bit of self loathing as he remarked that he had a way of making things worse. Further addingg “that’s how I make all of my money.

” Despite Miller’s statement, the Swifty community and the show’s audience will strongly disagree with the statement, curtsy of the release of ‘Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version).’

The speculation of her presence in the show has received much affirmation from eagle-eyed Swifties who believe that her presence is a perfect match with the first track.

Taylor Swift’s surprise Reputation (Taylor’s Version) drop

The fans were already hyped up for The Handmaid’s Tale

finale, and their excitement knew no bounds when they heard ‘Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)’ on the second-to-last episode of the series, directed by lead star Elizabeth Moss. A revamped version of the lead single played in the background at the beginning of the scene of the Handmaids coming together for an uprising led by June Osborne against the commanders. And it did not take the fans long to assume that Swift was one of the shadowed figures exiting a truck behind them.

This theory also fits well with the fact that the dates of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour performance in Toronto last fall matched with the filming dates and locations of the series. But the singer, who is maintaining a low-key presence these days, made no comments on it. Now the series has reached its fulfilling conclusion

, but this puzzle remains unsolved and is even more tangled now, thanks to Bruce Miller.
