Netflix is running up another reality competition series and it features 12 people who have to take down a millionaire who’s hiding amongst the group in an effort to win their bag of money.
The series takes place over the course of eight episodes, the contestants must work together while staying vigilant of their competitors as they try to spot and eliminate the millionaire.
“Million Dollar Secret” is hosted by actor and comedian Peter Serafinowicz (“The Tick”).
“This game is about lying and deceiving people, taking them into your confidence and pretending to be friends,” Serafinowicz told Netflix’s Tudum. “The participants are in this crazy situation. They wake up, and they’re in this game 24/7. The emotions and the tension … it’s all real. Everyone tries to keep it together, but some just can’t handle the pressure.”

Cara
Age: 29
Occupation: In-N-Out cook
Cara is all about her family and friends, but she says she wouldn’t mind adding the title millionaire as a title. She plans to use her great listening skills to learn all she can about her competition.
Harry
Age: 59
Occupation: Photographer
Harry joins the game with the goal of outwitting the contestants without lying in hopes of keeping his dignity as an honest man. He’s a comic book enthusiast and his career as a professional photographer has granted him access to multiple billionaires, and he just wants a piece of the pie.
Jaimi
Age: 42
Occupation: Life coach
As a life coach, listening and reading people comes easy for Jaimi, and that’s the skillset she’ll rely on to get her through the “Million Dollar Secret” games. Instead, she plans to keep her mouth shut and her ears open and maybe even put a bit of a poker face during her interactions with her opponents.
Kyle
Age: 27
Occupation: Construction worker
Kyle’s strategy won’t depend too much on his ability to maintain a lie because he says he’s simply just not that good at it. However, he doesn’t mind omitting some of the truth sometimes in a white lie.
Lauren
Age: 35
Occupation: Stay-at-home mother
Lauren comes in as a proud Midwesterner and mother of three who sports a fast-thinking mind and the patience as a former school counselor. And like a true mom, she wants to play the game while setting an example for her children that you don’t have to be deceitful to get ahead.
Lydia
Age: 64
Occupation: Retired escrow agent
While her days as an escrow agent are behind her, Lydia still likes a good check, which is why she’s entering the “Million Dollar Secret” games. She’s more seasoned in age, and because she feels women her age tend to be “overlooked,” she wants to use that as an advantage in the competition. She doesn’t want the other competitors her years in life have brought an immense amount of knowledge and wisdom.
Phillip
Age: 41
Occupation: College professor
Phillip spent 15 years of his life as a therapist, so he knows how to dig into people’s minds and gain their trust, tactics he’ll utilize in the competition. However, his tendency to overanalyze might create some hurdles for him.
Samantha
Age: 41
Occupation: Police officer
As a cop, Samantha knows what it’s like to go undercover and she plans to do so in the games by convincing the other contestants that she’s a stay-at-home mother. While she’s an empath, Samantha won’t hold back on manipulating who she needs to in order to get to the millions.
Se Young
Age: 35
Occupation: Systems VP
While Se works in video game research and has a love for board games, she’s playin’ around when it comes to nabbing those millions. Her tactic is to remain low and unseen as she navigates the competition.
Sydnee
Age: 32
Occupation: Medical sales
Sydnee says she’s often overlooked and perceived as less of a threat because of her looks, but in this case, she’s going to use that to her advantage. And what you see isn’t necessarily what you get when it comes to Sydnee, as she was raised in Alaska and isn’t afraid to become a cold-hearted competitor when things start to heat up.
Chris
Age: 34
Occupation: Beverage brand CEO
The business executive boasts an Ivy League education. Though he is actually a successful entrepreneur, he intends to throw his opponents off by claiming to be a struggling dreamer.
Corey
Age: 38
Occupation: Builder
Just like his career as a builder, Corey already started laying the bricks for his strategy before even entering the villa. But he won’t mind ditching his plans if he has to make sudden or impromptu decisions in the games.
