Netflix X NASA: Rocket Launches, Space Walks, More Space Expeditions Are Now Live, Check Details

Space has always fascinated humanity. It is vast, mysterious, and endlessly beautiful, an infinite canvas scattered with stars and secrets. For centuries, the world has gazed upward, tracing constellations and chasing distant wonders with nothing but imagination. Most of us have never truly seen space, only dreamed of it. But dreams have a way of inching closer. With Netflix’s 2025 slate, something extraordinary is taking shape. Just when the skies seemed out of reach, the final frontier begins to feel near.

Ignited by fan wonder and cosmic curiosity, Netflix now unlocks NASA like never before—live rocket launches, daring spacewalks, deep-space missions, and more.

Netflix is now viewers’ front-row seat to NASA’s universe

Netflix is joining forces with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) to stream real-time space action straight to its platform. Beginning this summer, global audiences can witness rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, mission coverage, and stunning live views from the International Space Station, all within the Netflix interface. This collaboration will not affect streaming on NASA+ or YouTube. Currently, the deal includes only live content, while archival footage and documentaries remain exclusive to NASA’s platforms.

Rebecca Sirmons, general manager of NASA+, said in a press release that the 1958 Space Act urges NASA to share its mission widely. With Netflix’s reach of over 700 million users, the agency aims to inspire a new generation through live coverage of space exploration. While NASA+ remains free and ad-free, offering archives and documentaries, Netflix prepares to launch live streams. Until then, viewers can explore a chilling space-set title that begins with wonder and spirals into pure cosmic horror.
