What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.
ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment options every week and whether each has gained or lost momentum compared to the prior week. The chart lives on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.
“A Minecraft Movie” is No. 1 for the second week in a row on the list and has grossed nearly $344 million domestically in its third week in theaters. “NBA Basketball” jumps to No. 2 as the first round of the playoffs begins. HBO’s “The Last of Us,” now streaming Season 2 on Max, remains at No. 3 for the second week in a row. “Wicked” dips two spots to No. 4, and “Major League Baseball” is back at No. 5 as the regular season is in full swing.
“Grand Theft Auto VI,” expected to release in the fall of 2025, rejoins the list at No. 6 while Netflix’s “Stranger Things” returns at No. 7. With nearly a month until its May 23 release, Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” moves up one spot to No. 8 while “Snow White” drops five spots to No. 9. Paramount Pictures’ eighth installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” starring Tom Cruise and releasing on May 23, joins the list at No. 10 after its official trailer release.
