‘s inclusion in the British royal family has been equal parts controversial, pleasing, and an inevitable happening that one cannot take their eyes and minds off of. Ever since Prince Harry
proposed to the former actress, a bunch of news, positive and negative, has been surrounding them at any given time. But there was one big media coverage by Vanity Fair attached to her that was hard to shake off.
Now, more than half a decade later, the same coverage has surfaced some buried issues that ailed the Suits
star.
Vanity Fair’s detailed theme on her was a disappointment for Meghan Markle and the Royals
Right before Meghan Markle tied the knot and became the Duchess of Sussex, Vanity Fair did a big cover piece on her, the headline for which ran “Meghan Markle, Wild About Harry
” in 2017. But this was so not the literary turnout Markle or her in-laws were hoping for. Helena Chard, who is a British Royal broadcaster and TV presenter, told Fox News that
“this was an eye-opener for the royal family”.
She added that the printed words became a matter of shame for the royal family.

“A sense of dread and embarrassment engulfed them as Meghan’s words and views were made public,”
she continued. According to Chard, this was not the protocol for an outsider
who was about to become a part of the royalty themselves. Though neither Markle nor any representative of her in-laws laid out any statement regarding this, one thing is for sure: it became an unsettling matter for both parties.
This is not the only troubling throwback that has splurged lately. How this piece also hurt Markle’s pride was also recently revealed by Graydon Carter, who covered the detailed piece.
Former Vanity Fair editor-in-chief point fingers at Meghan Markle
Back in 2017, Graydon Carter was the editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, and on the advice of his colleague, he did Meghan Markle’s cover. But in some bold statements he recently shared about his interaction with her, Carter said that Markle understood that the cover piece would be about her social work. He quoted that she said, “Excuse me, is this going to all be about Prince Harry? Because I thought we were going to be talking about my charities and my philanthropy.”

Carter told Page Six that in his opinion, Markle’s attitude was disengaged from facts and reality. While Carter and Helena Chard have made some unsubtle and heavy allegations against Markle, there has been no response from her or her team on these so far.
