More than a pastime, the Duchess sees it as a playful introduction to basics—almost like a real-life farm game, preparing Princess Lilibet for the business plans she has for her. Through gardening, counting, and sharing with their community, she teaches them patience, gratitude, and that, as she puts it, “there’s a cost and a price for things.”
