In her first-ever podcast interview, Markle shed tears of joy and happy motherhood as she read a precious letter from her children and her husband.
Meghan Markle’s children send her a heartfelt message
Over the years, Meghan Markle has donned many hats professionally and personally, however, the mother’s is her favourite. Recently, the former actress sat down with Jamie Kern Lima for an exclusive interview at The Jamie Kern Lima
podcast
and shed tears of joy after reading a surprise letter from her two children, which Prince Harry wrote for them. The letter read, “We love your cooking, we love your pancakes, and we love, love, love your hugs. You are the best mummy, and we love you.”
Listening to this made Markle very happy, who emotionally described that she loves making Prince Archie breakfast, and before leaving that day, she made a breakfast sandwich, bacon, and other things.
When the host asked Meghan Markle about what she wants Princess Lilibet to think of her when she grows up, Markle took a thoughtful moment to answer. Then she shared that she wants her children to think that no one has ever loved anyone the way their mother has loved them. And she puts that in practice daily. It is part of how she shows up for them every day, and also reads parenting books for it. The other stuff comes naturally.

While this was a very emotional note for Markle, she also shared with the world the best future gift she is preparing for her children every day.
Meghan Markle’s modern version of time capsule for her children
After reading the heartfelt letter, Meghan Markle also shared that one of her mom friends gave her the idea of creating a digital time capsule for her children. For this, the former actress created two email addresses for each child and shares notes, pictures, moments, and memories with them. She plans on giving them the email when they are older. As if this was not emotional enough, Markle also shared the sweetest activity of emailing them special moments that will eventually get lost in time if not documented.

Markle’s big mama heart just wants her children to look back and feel all the love she harbours for them in their hearts. In her words, the Duchess “loves to see them grow and is proud of them”
. Markle could not stop herself from sobbing all the while she talked about her children, and concluded by adding, “They are so great”.
Despite being a busy woman, Markle always takes time for her children, with whom she recently visited the Montecito sanctuary for another fond memory
. However, reading their sweet confession of love for her was her biggest mother reward.
