Meghan Markle is facing renewed family tensions as her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., revealed to The Mirror
from the Philippines, where he now lives with their father, Thomas Markle Sr., that he is writing a tell-all book about the Duchess and her childhood.
“I’m working on it. It’s coming out. It’s gonna be good,”
he said, hinting at a follow-up documentary. He also criticized Markle’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan,
in an interview with TalkTV, calling her childhood recollections “malarkey.”
Thomas Markle Jr. further added in the interview with journalist Kevin O’Sullivan that he criticized Markle’s Netflix series, admitting it was the first time he felt sorry and embarrassed for her. When asked if their father had seen the show, he said he purposely avoided letting him watch it, joking that it could have been too much for his heart, and he did not want to risk a medical emergency. While America’s shift in support of Markle and Prince Harry has already taken a U-turn, paired with Saturday Night Live’s
jab, this book could further fuel the growing tension and public scrutiny.
