is inspired by the real-life story of Joe Scaravella, the heart behind Staten Island’s beloved Enoteca Maria, a restaurant where grandmothers from around the world step in as chefs. The rights to Scaravella’s remarkable journey were acquired by Madison Wells and Matador Content, with Liz Maccie crafting the screenplay.
