Besides Bacon, the actors in the new movie could include Michael Gross, who has played Burt Gummer in other movies of the franchise. Fans have the same expectations from Jon Heder and Richard Brake, who have continued to a a valuable part of the franchise till recent films.
The creators want the movie to be original and are not envisioning a new cast. Certainly, old is gold, and upcoming Tremors
is sticking to this rule in terms of story, too.
Next chapter of Tremors goes back to where the story started
The creators, Ron Underwood, Brent Maddock, and S.S. Wilson, have expressed their wish to communicate an authentic feeling to the 90s. And for this, they want the sequel set in the familiar and fictional desert town of Perfection, Nevada, which served as the location for the first movie. Other than Nevada, they are also playing the field with some fresh, unexpected locations.
