When promoting the movie during its release, some years ago, both actors shared what influences them while choosing scripts.

Back in 2017, Ryan Reynolds came to the big screen as the bodyguard of Samuel Jackson as the two packed many punches through two hours in the theatres. how he resonates with his characters, “I like it to feel nasty and real and like my characters, .. like it would be in real life, terrifying”,
he told them.

Describing his choices, he also shared that he likes the kind of action where he sees a little bit of fear in the opponent’s eyes. And with the action sequences in The Hitman’s Bodyguard

Though it came out during the pandemic, but still managed to scare a decent $38 million in the US and $32 million worldwide, making its total $70.1 million. The movie is available on many streaming platforms
