actress, who has
been to the gala multiple times in the past, has still been unable to decode the
frenzy behind the event.

In her
latest interview, Dakota Johnson shared some personal insights on the event
she has been a part of but never understood.

Dakota Johnson thinks the Met Gala is out of this world

Dakota
Johnson is about to have her first release of the year with the upcoming
Materialists

. And for that, she just had a special interview with Elle
Magazine

, in which she chatted with her co-star, Pedro Pascal. Discussing
the Met Gala, Johnson explained she is unable to understand what happens
at the event, saying, “
I find the Met Gala is like The Twilight Zone. I
don’t know what the —k is going on

.”  Johnson added, “I don’t feel I connect with any human beings in a real way

“. 

This
is a surprise statement from the star who has been to the Met Gala numerous
times and has always slayed with her looks. From her 2017 Gucci gown with
ruffles and train to her 2022 black lace catsuit with silver fringe, Johnson
has always made a fashion statement, securing her name among Vogue’s list of Best
Met Gala looks of all time. However, her Met memories are just as confusing as
her experience of the event, according to her co-star.

In the same Elle
interview, Pedro Pascal trolled Dakota Johnson hard for not remembering meeting
him at the past gala.

Chatting with Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal mentioned how they first got to know each other at
the 2014 Met Gala, and the actor even took her under his wing as she was flying
solo at the event. But the next time she met Johnson, she completely forgot
about it. Johnson joked that this was perhaps the 37th time they
had had this conversation, adding her first
impression of him was
“Wow, this guy is so cool. What a nice man that I’ve
definitely never met before.”

Besides the
Met Gala, the two also had some deep conversations about modern dating and
loving someone, all revolving around their upcoming movie,
 Materialists

. It has already earned an R rating for strong words and
mature content,

and revolves around Dakota Johnson playing a modern-day matchmaker with Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans competing for her. But before the curtain lifts, Johnson’s cheeky take on the Met Gala legacy definitely stole the spotlight.
