Nothing is truly Kanye West
or Ye-centric without a hearty dose of drama and chaos. No matter how many years go by his sour confrontations with Adidas, something or the other acts like a magnetic pull to bring the bitter memories back to the silver screen. After a surprising restock on the Yeezy website following his latest round of social reawakening, the music mogul dropped an Adidas-sized rant on his Instagram, dissing the brand for its attempts to outrank his own over a Google search trend. Shortly after, Adidas retorted by canceling every Yeezy nugget on their website.
This latest takedown may be just one of many for Ye, but it is the only one that has actually done him a favor.
Ye’s Yeezy is officially in with Adidas out of the scene
When Ye pulled a no-show on social media between the consecutive teasers for ‘Bully,’ fans knew his comeback would be even more chaotic than his sudden exit. True to expectations, the rapper’s social revival followed back-to-back call-outs—firstly, over a knock-off Yeezy designer, and secondly, over a Google search trend that revealed Adidas’ website eclipsing his own. Merely a day into the social media backlash, the brand has done away with all the Yeezy references on Adidas’ website.
Adidas has removed all mentions of YEEZY off of their website.

If a user selects images on their news segment, the old Yeezy news articles have been “wiped
” once and for all. Additionally, searching Yeezy products on their website from mobile redirects customers to their home page instead of disclaimers like “Product Not Found”
or some error. While the rapper specifically doubled down on the “Yeezy over everything”
mantra in his digital blow aimed at the German giant, Adidas’ response now officially substantiates the claims that his designs will be the “only Yeezy”
left in time.

Ye fans sing the last hurrah after Adidas turns the page
When Ye unleashed the fireworks on the German giant, the rapper went all out to slam Adidas for meticulously holding him back. From blasting out at the brand over “design theft and oppression”
to namedropping Jerry Lorenzo for being “corny and disloyal,”
Ye did not mince words while outing his frustration. Although fans could feel the tremors from miles away, Adidas’ response via their website has fans dubbing it as the last curtain call on the drawn-out dispute.
