In a recent conversation with Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused

comic book characters before revealing he has been a Batman comic fan through and through. When Horowitz swung open the doors of destiny, offering Skarsgård the choice to embody the Caped Crusader or the Clown Prince of Crime, the actor hedged his bets, proposing a diabolical twist before confessing that he would probably make a “f–king cool Joker.”

Initially, Bill Skarsgård pitched in for a role reversal where Batman’s cowl concealed the Joker’s grin and vice versa.
