, UA’s Scott Stuber and United Artists are in final talks for the new take on Highlander.

Scott Stuber and Nick Nesbitt from United Artists bagged in their kitty the exclusive rights to the Highlander

franchise, which was originally developed by Lionsgate. And as per reports, Highlander

’s director Chad Stahelski’s vision found itself a better home at Amazon Studios. Stahelski will also be involved in the production with his banner, 87Eleven Entertainment, along with Neal H. Moritz. The upcoming Henry Cavill movie also has some John Wick

connections, as they share the director, and their writer, Michael Finch, is involved in Highlander’

s screenplay.
