What is Good Fortune about?
Good Fortune follows Gabriel, a low-tier guardian angel who takes pity on an unlucky man named Gary, a struggling odd-jobber working for an obscenely wealthy socialite named Jeff. When Gary hits rock bottom, complete with a tragic nap at a Denny’s, Gabriel intervenes by swapping Gary’s life with Jeff’s to prove that wealth is not the solution. The plan backfires spectacularly when Jeff’s riches instantly solve Gary’s problems, and Gabriel is demoted, wingless, and forced to crash on Earth, with Jeff.
Now Earthbound and roommate to a very bitter Jeff, Gabriel watches as his previous “heavenly work” starts falling apart in the most hilarious ways. With a plot this fantastically derailed, it only makes sense that a brilliant cast will bring the madness to life effortlessly.
