back as Rachel Green in any form. But the actress is not keen on revisiting the role or the entire project, for that matter. The actress recently revealed that if given a chance, she would love to visit one of her past roles; however, it would not be the beloved sitcom that made her a household name. Aniston instead has her eyes on a project with themes far removed from the cozy world of Central Perk.
Not fun-loving, always well-dressed, and oh-so-sweet Rachel; Aniston would rather revisit a villainous role of hers.
Jennifer Aniston snubs Friends as she chooses a different past role to revisit
When Jennifer Aniston recently got asked about which of her many projects so far she would love to revisit, the actress had the answer all locked and loaded to deliver. Speaking to PEOPLE Magazine,
she quickly picked Horrible Bosses
as her past work she would love to explore. “Oh my God, this literally came up the other day,”
she said about the 2011 comedy film, which also spawned a sequel three years later. The flick follows exploited employees as they plot to save themselves from their abusive bosses, with Aniston playing one of the latter characters.

Divulging more on the topic, the actress revealed it is not only she who feels pumped about revisiting the classic. Her co-stars from the movie, Jason Bateman and Charlie Day, feel the same way. Per Aniston, the characters at the center of the venture are “hilarious,”
and comedy is something that the world is in dire need of today. While Friends
stays in the past for Aniston, she does find herself in a Friends
character, or should we say, characters?

Which Friends character does Jennifer Aniston relate to most besides Rachel?
While it is a well-known fact that Jennifer Aniston herself chose to play Rachel when she was initially cast as Monica, the actress, in an interview with Extra TV in 1994, revealed she is more like Courteney Cox’s character than her own very pristine and chivalrous archetype. Not wanting to be mean to her role, though, Aniston quickly amended that she finds herself to be a “combination
” of both Rachel and Monica. The latter statement made much more sense, Friends
fans would say.
In a different interview, the same day, Aniston also revealed which of the Friends
characters she feels she would befriend in real life. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actress expressed that she would like to be friends with her on-screen flame, Ross. Little did the interviewer know at the time that Aniston and David Schwimmer would engage in a long history of both reel and potentially real romance.
While Aniston may have chosen to keep Friends
in the past, this time around, there is no denying the sitcom remains one of her most cherished works.
