Following ‘The Apprentice’, Donald Trump to Hit Big Screen With Another “kinder” 100 Million Dollars Biopic

Current President Donald Trump has long been linked to
the entertainment industry. Serving as an endless source of continued
entertainment, not only has he been imitated in parody countless times on
SNL

and other shows, but he has also made appearances in many Hollywood projects. But
the 2024 biopic,
The Apprentice,

ticked him off to a high extent.
Played on the screen by Sebastian Stan, Trump absolutely detested the light in
which he was portrayed, but now now he might get his redempion with another project.

A new biopic on Donald Trump is currently in the works and will show him in a different avatar compared to last year’s movie.

Donald Trump gets another biopic with fabulous budget and a softer tone

According to a report from Deadline, another documentary
on Donald Trump

is being
made with a mind-blowing budget of $100 million, and is expected to portray the President in a
“kinder”

light. Andrea Lervolino, the producer
of
Ferrari

and To The Bon

e, will be working on this project, which
is expected to start shooting by the end of 2025. The involvement of Trump himself is
unclear at the moment. And key members
of a suitable director and a worthy actor to play the 78-year-old Trump are
also yet to be finalised.

But it will be promoted to potential investors at this
month’s Cannes Film Festival in France. Speaking about the project, Andrea Lervolino
billed it as a major new biographical film centred on
“the life and legacy of
Donald J. Trump — real estate mogul, television icon, and 45th and 47th
President of the United States”

. This is a big cinematic change for Donald Trump, who
detested his last biopic.

The currently
unnamed biopic, which hopes to cover the rise, the challenges, resilience of
Donald Trump, must be a big breath of relief for him after his depiction in
The
Apprentice,

which proved unsuitable to his liking.

Donald Trump’s aversion to 2024’s The Apprentice

Last year
Marvel’s Winter Soldier, Sebastian Stan starred as Donald Trump in the biographical
drama,
The Apprentice

which saw Trump’s rise as a businessman in the New
York City throught the 1970s and 1980s. But the president called it a “
disgusting hatchet job” on his Truth Social

account that was concocted to ruin his public image
and his candidature at that moment. In return Stan defended the movie
which he claimed to be legitimate.

But with
this upcoming biopic, Donald Trump finally gets the cinematic portrayal of himself
he hoped for last year. With this project, the producer Andrea Lervolino aims to deliver a film that is balanced and artistically ambitious. Though Trump has recently brought
a storm to Hollywood with the newly imposed sky-high tariff rates

, his link with the industry continues to be an unbreakable one. More details on the project are to follow once the main cast and director have finalised. Stay tuned for more.
