‘FBI: Most Wanted,’ ‘FBI: International’ Canceled at CBS

The two Dick Wolf series won’t be coming back, but a CIA spinoff is still in the works The post ‘FBI: Most Wanted,’ ‘FBI: International’ Canceled at CBS appeared first on TheWrap.

There’ll be a lot less FBI agents on TV next season. CBS announced Tuesday that it has opted not to renew “FBI” spinoffs “FBI: Most Wanted” and “FBI: International.”

The flagship series, which stars Missy Peregrym and Zeeko Zaki, was previously renewed through the 2026-27 TV season at CBS.

The move comes as President Trump’s animosity towards the actual bureau continues to play out. Last month, TheWrap talked to several experts, including two former FBI agents, who discussed how this real-life situation might affect the Dick Wolf universe: None of them predicted that cancellation might be an option.

A previously announced “FBI: CIA” project remains in development and has not yet been cast.

“FBI: Most Wanted,” which launched in 2020, is currently in Season 5. Originally led by Julian McMahon, Dylan McDermott took over as head of the Fugitive Task Force in 2022. The series currently costars Shantel VanSanten, Roxy Sternberg,
Keisha Castle-Hughes and Edwin Hodge.

“FBI: International,” which was set in Budapest and often sent its agents to other countries in pursuit of high-profile criminals, premiered with the 2021-2022 season. Star Luke Kleintank, who played Scott Forrester, left the show after Season 3. Season 4 added two new Wes Mitchell (“Chicago PD” alum Jesse Lee Soffer) and Tyler Booth (former “Station 19” star Jay Hayden).

All three “FBI” shows air Tuesdays on CBS and stream the next day on Paramount+.
