During the Eras Tour, several reports claimed that 83 CPOs surrounded the pop royalty, four accompanying her at all times. Moreover, 140 additional individuals were around the venues. It is assumed these CPOs are in contract with agencies instead of her 13 Management payroll. Although the payout may seem eye-popping and astounding, it is non-negotiable for an artist of Swift’s caliber.

Last year, amidst the highlights of her globetrotting Eras Tour, Swift had to cancel shows in Vienna, Austria because of reports of a planned terrorist attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium
. After government officials confirmed the threat, the concert was canceled to avoid any major breach of safety.
“We have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,”
Barracuda Music, the city’s event organizer, announced on Instagram. Swift addressed the called-off shows in a separate post on Instagram later in August, promising to return soon.
Although disaster was narrowly avoided, in hindsight, the alarming event explains why she considers her safety a top priority, dedicating a sizeable portion of her wealth to protecting her life.
