is reportedly set to release its final season in May this year.

In a 2024 interview with Inverse, Charley Parlapanides revealed that they initially envisioned a five-season arc
for the mythological anime series. “We’ve planned out what we would hope to be a five-season arc,” Charley told. “It all depends on whether we get viewership [that will decide if] we get a second season.”

is preparing for a spectacular comeback
with its stunning animation and intricate depiction of Greek mythology. Given its spectacular run on Netflix and an astounding 100% critics approval on Rotten Tomatoes, it does not come as a surprise that the series has circled back for a third run. What does rub the wrong way is why it has been cut short.

Whether Molina’s Cronus arrives in chains or in fury, one thing is certain: the gods have met their match, and they should probably start running, and perhaps this is exactly what fans will be tuning in for come May.
