Blake Lively broke her social media silence on Wednesday to pay tribute to her late “Gossip Girl” co-star Michelle Trachtenberg, who died Wednesday morning at 39.

In an Instagram Story, Lively remembered Trachtenberg as a “fiercly loyal” and “kind person, through and through.”

“She was electricity. You knew when she entered a room because the vibration changed,” Lively, who played Serena Van Der Woodsen on the CW series, wrote in an Instagram story Wednesday. “Everything she did, she did 200%.”

Trachtenberg joined the cult-favorite teen drama series as Georgina Sparks as a recurring character from 2008 to 2012. Lively shared that the child star “cared deeply about her work” and “faced authority head on when she felt something was wrong.”

“She was proud to be a part of this community and industry as painful as it could be sometimes,” Lively wrote. “She was fiercely loyal to her friends and brave for those she loved, she was big and bold and distinctly herself.”

“Time passes. You take for granted that you get the chance to see an old friend. To paraphrase, the real tragedies in life are the ones that blindside you on an idle Tuesday,” Lively added. “Hold those you love and have loved dear. The world lost a deeply sensitive and good person in Michelle.

“May her work and her huge heart be remembered by those who were lucky enough to experience her fire.”

Trachtenberg’s mother found her unresponsive in her New York City apartment Wednesday morning. The actress was best known for her roles in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Harriet the Spy,” “EuroTrip” and “Ice Princess.” Her cause of death has not yet been made public.
