It is a task to gauge out content that becomes the talk of Tinseltown in the streaming era. However, HBO has done it again and again, that too, on loop, no less. The streaming mogul dropped The Last of Us
two years ago, earning cult status. And after a wait of what seemed like forever, Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal returned to the screen with a gripping follow-up season. Though viewers have only journeyed through the second episode, which left them to tear up, Ramsey summed up The Last of Us
experience with Pascal in a soundtrack that saved the tears for another day.
The track is such a banger that Pascal could not keep his feet still.
Bella Ramsey namedrops a track that translates her time with Pedro Pascal in The Last of Us
In a recent reaction video for Max, Pedro Pascal asked
his The Last of Us
co-star, Bella Ramsey, to share a song that summarizes her experience with the actor on the show. “Well, I’d choose ‘Xanadu’ obviously,”
she said, sparking a Pascal-esque nod of frenzy. As soon as the Olivia Newton-John song started playing in the background, Pascal and Ramsey began grooving almost in sync.

“You can sing it, I’m just a backup dancer,”
Pascal said as Ramsey sang-along her way to ‘Xanadu.’ Though the MCU star dishes out laughs like it is his day job
, this bit had him lip-syncing with a flair and throwing in some theatrics for good measure. Pascal even quipped that the song was peak Last of Us energy—a dramatic anthem that highlights their iconic bond, on and off-screen.
While the mutual frenzy about ‘Xanadu’ may have stemmed from their experience with The Last of Us
, Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal’s symphonic inheritance goes beyond the bounds of the fictional universe.
A sonic trademark, Bella Ramsey inherited from The Last of Us co-star Pedro Pascal
During their laugh-out-loud exchanges on Max, Bella Ramsey asked The Last of U
s co-star Pedro Pascal whether he was a bathroom singer. She also wanted to know his “go-to song,”
as if she were not aware already. After breaking into a burst of explosive laughter, with a knowing look exchanged in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment, Pascal revealed he composes a song with a “string of bad words.”

Ramsey recalled Pascal telling her during season one, and living in one of those vast apartments where the only music he played was the chain of bad words to entertain himself. He would reportedly just scream, and now that Ramsey resides in one, she also unoriginally does the same. Although it may not be everyone’s jam, it clearly is music to both their ears, and theirs? To the world.
