, has been more active than ever this month. From his unexpected entrance with Bianca Censori at the Grammys to his chaotic X posting spree, the ‘American Boy’ rapper has been keeping busy. But nothing has fueled the gossip mill quite like his upcoming album, ‘Bully’, which has been stirring conversations for all sorts of reasons.

One of the more prominent topics of gossip is that Ye has incorporated AI while making his album. As it was announced that he, Playboi Carti, Roddy Richh, Peso Pluma, TY Dolla $ign & The Game are all revving up to be a part of the album, the debate on the usage of AI was reignited on the internet, leaving fans divided once more. 

Ye himself added fuel to the fire when he revealed that ‘Bully’ was inspired by his son, a playful nod that takes on a sharper edge considering how the album is living up to its name

. All this discussion started with his interview with Justin LaBoy, he confirmed the use of AI in the album’s vocals, comparing its impact to auto-tune’s disruptive arrival in music. And just like then, fans are once again locked in debate, unable to agree on whether Ye is pioneering or provoking.

Ye’s AI twist in Bully has fans excited and puzzled simultaneously

While many agree that Ye’s musical genius is undeniable, not everyone is convinced that the same holds true if AI plays a role in his album. For some, the idea that an artist might not even need to step into the studio, letting AI handle the vocals instead, feels almost unreal. After waiting an entire year for new music, many fans can not hide their disappointment.

Others, however, are too caught up in the album’s star-studded lineup to dwell on the AI debate. In addition to previously announced collaborators, there are even rumors going about that Don Toliver and Baby Keem might be joining Ye for ‘Bully’. And honestly, who can blame them? With so many major artists on ‘Bully’, AI might not be replacing creativity, it could be elevating it. 

Reactions to ‘Bully’ are as polarized as ever. Some fans feel let down by AI’s presence, questioning its impact on Ye’s artistry, while others are too captivated by the album’s lineup to mind. But at the end of the day all this debate about ‘Bully’, whether good or bad, only adds to the album’s hype.
