technology officer, Elizabeth Stone, said to the outlet that their company’s

Explaining
the idea behind embracing this advancement, Elizabeth Stone further shared, that
they want the users to be able to discover shows and movies using natural
conversational phrases, like, “I want something funny and upbeat,”
or “I want
something scary, and also maybe a little bit funny,”
She explained that the voice search phrase
will yield results in the new experience which will make the watch selection
easier for the users and waste less time.

A praiseworthy
new feature, the addition of OpenAI, will definitely increase Netflix’s appeal.
However, this is not the only new technology addition, Netflix is set to

Other than
the overall addition of OpenAI, Netflix will also be giving a whole new
makeover to its app by introducing a TikTok-style vertical feed to make it user-friendly and making content discovery easier. Recently announced during
its press presentation, this feature
will allow users to swipe through
brief video snippets from Netflix’s
lengthy library of unending browsing.
The features
and controls for this will be similar to TikTok, present in the bottom-right
corner.
All of these updates are part of the platform’s renovation and new homepage redesign, something they have been working on for some time now and began testing last year. Making it more alluring for the gaming fans, the streamer will also be involved in gaming and live events with the help of these updates.
