“We WON”- Fans Are on Board With Sadie Sink’s Entry Into the MCU as This Iconic Character

MCU is always on the lookout for fresh talent- especially since it continues to grow across the Multiverse. Thankfully, there is no shortage of exciting actors waiting for their turn in the superhero universe either. Since Stranger Things

 dropped on Netflix, its cast has been the talk of Marvel fan-casting circles. And after season 4, following the powerful Dear Billy

, Sadie Sink became a sensation among fans. Naturally, casting rumors about who Sink could play in the MCU started circulating soon, and some are even suggesting she has already been cast.

According to insider Jeff Sneider

, Sadie Sink is currently the frontrunner to take on the role of the new Jean Grey in the MCU. While Marvel Studios, Sink, or anyone else involved have not confirmed anything yet, the rumor has definitely caused a stir among fans. Sneider also pointed out that it is still early days, so nothing is locked in just yet, and things could always change with Doomsday

The insider, however, seemed pretty sure of his source, so it is possible Kevin Feige, and his team are going for younger actors for some of the key roles in the upcoming movies. This update came right after another popular insider, Daniel Richtman, teased a big possible addition to Avengers: Doomsday

, possibly alongside Chris Evans. In any case, fans seem pretty excited about the new update.

It looks like fans have given a thumbs-up to the idea of casting Sadie Sink as Jean Grey in the MCU.

Fans cannot wait to see Sadie Sink in the MCU

Sadie Sink is not exactly new to the MCU casting buzz, or the superhero world’s rumor mill. She has been part of the conversation for a while now. But while Marvel loves keeping things under wraps, Sink herself has shot down these rumors as well. However, during a 2022 interview with Extra, she did admit that if the right superhero role came her way, she would definitely be open to it. “If this is real we WON

,” a fan said. 

That said, not everyone is on board with the idea of Sadie Sink taking on the role of Jean Grey, mainly because she seems too young. 

Jean Grey was a key character in Fox’s X-Men

franchise, earlier brought to life by Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner, and the same will likely hold true for the MCU. Casting Sadie Sink in the role would firmly position her as one of the stars of the franchise’s next big saga.
