Fans Wish Ye’s Upcoming ‘Bully’ to Feature a Deleted Controversial Track That Journaled His 2022 Controversies

, is hard at work on his next album, ‘Bully’, and fans have high hopes for it. The rapper made his musical comeback earlier this year. While it was technically a comeback- after all, he did step back into the studio after a long break- it did not exactly feel like the triumphant return fans were hoping for. His 2024 album, ‘Vultures’, got a mixed bag of reviews. Some tracks hit the right note with fans, but others, not so much. Now, fans are putting all their hopes in ‘Bully’. And they are not just excited- they have got opinions, too. 

Fans are calling for Ye to revive a short-lived track that captured his entire streak of controversies from two years ago. Back in 2022, Ye released ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free’. That was not the title of the track, as a matter of fact. The track did not have a title at all; it was decided by the media and fans. The track was shared in his Instagram handle on the night of December 7, only to be deleted shortly by Instagram. Ye captioned his post as, “Censori overload. The variable epitope library from the antigen promotes an immune response in the body

”. 

Throughout the track, Ye made some subtle nods to his divorce from Kim Kardashian

, his secret marriage to Bianca Censori, his perceived megalomania, and the consequences of his controversial statements. Towards the end, the ‘Donda’ rapper shrugged the subtlety off, and made more direct references to antisemitism as well. While it is obvious why the track got the boot, fans now want it to re-release.

Fans have taken to X to clamour for the release of ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free’ through the upcoming ‘Bully’ album. 

Fans want Ye to re-release his controversial track in Bully

Ye made Someday We’ll All Be Free in just 10 minutes, as per reports. The drop came right after his ban from X and the termination of partnerships with Adidas, Balenciaga and his talent agency. It was an unapologetic track where the rapper further reiterated his controversial and polarizing thoughts. Considering that Ye has moved past those controversies, and is genuinely trying to make a solid comeback, it seems unlikely that he would destroy everything all over again by releasing ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free’.  But fans seemed adamant. 

Many fans implied that adding ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free’ to ‘Vultures’ could have saved it. They hailed the deleted track as “goated

Even if Ye decided to release the track, this time he would have to deal with lesser obstacles. The reason being, Ye is making ‘Bully’ entirely on his own, without additional producers or writers. Hopefully, this independent approach of Ye, which has been praised by many in the industry

, would make the release of ‘Bully’ smoother than ‘Vultures’, avoiding such long-drawn delays.
