‘Wall to Wall’ on Netflix: Cast, Plot, Release Date, and Everything to Know About the K-Drama Thriller

A new Korean film is about to be dropped, and no, it is not an average rom-com. Wall to Wall

comes from director Kim Tae-joon, who previously turned heads with his Netflix debut Unlocked

.  In Wall to Wall,

Tae-joon takes on a different beast: a horrific nightmare that bleeds into reality. The show was previously titled ‘84 Square Meters’ but then changed to Wall to Wall

. And if both the titles reek of claustrophobia, then bingo! That is what the directors intended.

As you might have guessed, the plot does build on top of that. So, ahead of the show’s release next month, here is what you need to know.

Cast of Wall to Wall: Some familiar names and some not-so

The cast of Wall to Wall

has not yet been made public. Only three members of the crew are known. Kang Ha Neul, Yeom Hye Ran, and Seo Hyun Woo. Na Neul, who will play the role of U Sung, most recently starred in Netflix’s Squid Game

Season 3

as Kang Dae Ho / No. 388. But he is more famous for his roles in Tastefully Yours

, When The Camellia Blooms

, for which he received the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards Best Actor award, and others.

On the other hand, Yeom Hye Ran will play the role of Eun Hwa. She has already starred in Mask Girl, The Uncanny Counter, The Glory

, and Alchemy of Souls

. At the same time, Seo Hyun Woo will play the role of Jin Ho. She has previously worked in Celebrity

and My Name is Loh Kiwan

for Netflix before this.

One can hope that more details from the cast and crew will come to public knowledge in the next few months, as it did in the case of Dear Hongrang

. Meanwhile, here is a look at the story of Wall to Wall

Plot of Wall to Wall: When ambition sucks you dry

The Netflix logline for the show gives a glimpse into the claustrophobic world of Wall to Wall.

Woo-seong is a 21st-century Korean guy whose all-consuming ambition for social mobility threatens to destroy everything and everyone surrounding him. His desire is deceptively simple: to have an apartment. But that drains his financial resources. His assets, his investments. And a desperate Woo-seong also utilizes his mother’s garlic farm to raise money. Of course, none of that works, and Woo-seong comes undone, and discovers something sinister within (literally) and outside the walls of his room.

When can you catch the new Korean film Wall to Wall?

Wall to Wall

was done with the shooting some time around late 2024. The trailer is now out, and Netflix has announced July 18, 2025, as its release date. Tentatively, the entire show has a runtime of 120 hours, as do most Korean shows on Netflix that have proven to have the audiences in a chokehold.

So, Wall to Wall

has a powerhouse cast. An edge-of-the-seat plot that merges fantasy with reality, and a short runtime that promises to elevate the sense of horror. It is a modern-day allegory for this generation’s crushed dreams and relentless pursuit of social mobility.
