Ben Affleck has one of the most captivating screen presences with a wide range of different characters in Tinseltown. Recently, the former Batman of the DC universe made a spectacular return on screens again, reprising the role of Christian Wolff, a mathematical genius and freelance accountant who not only solves complex problems but also wrestles with criminal organizations. Just a couple of months ago, the second tale in this thrilling saga, The Accountant 2,
unfolded in the theaters.
After its successful run, mills are abuzz with the rumors of a third installment, and in talks is the funny queen Anna Kendrick from the first movie.
Anna Kendrick to uphold the romantic lead against Ben Affleck once again?
According to The Accountant
franchise director, Gavin O’Connor, The Accountant 3
is already being discussed, he told The Hollywood Reporter in April
. He has also confirmed that they are looking to bring Anna Kendrick on board again for the third installment, although nothing is set in stone just yet. He and writer Bill Dubuque have started working on the screenplay. During an interview with the New York Times after the second movie release, he shared, “One thing we’ve talked about is the idea of bringing Anna Kendrick back.”
Lead actor Ben Affleck has also shared that they are hoping that Anna Kendrick still likes them.
In the first movie,
Kendrick played Dana Cummings,
an accountant at Living Robotics who notices the irregularities with their books. However, she was missing from the second installment as the story wanted to shift focus towards the relationship between the two main characters, Christian and Brax.
But for those fans who were not able to catch it at the time of release, need not worry, as the movie is ready with a streaming platform access.
Catch Christian Wolff packing punches digitally
Fans of the first Accountant
movie can surely catch the sequel on Prime Video with a subscription, where it is streaming exclusively as Amazon MGM already booked exclusive streaming rights and was a distributing partner. Simmons’ late FinCEN director Raymond King.
