Fans’ creativity peaks by reimagining Taylor Swift as a Wicked character
The second movie for Wicked
is currently in production, and fake news of the singer being present in it has taken over the internet. Many fake AI-edited images imagining Taylor Swift as the character of Dorothy in the upcoming Wicked: For Good
are going viral on social media. But the picture is a fake, as Swift is not going to appear in the sequel to this musical blockbuster.

Dorothy is a naive and innocent child who is an outsider in the complex world of Oz. But as the AI images made their way around, many fans remembered a similar look of Swift from her music video for ‘Karma,’ for which she collaborated with Ice Spice. Sharing pictures of that look, a fan who called out the fake image with his opinion of “Why use AI when we literally have these?”
But there is no official word for Swift at Dorothy.

The success of Wicked
has propelled the director to raise the stakes this year, and Dorothy will also have a bigger role in the movie.
Wicked: For Good increases screen presence for small characters and teases a crossover
According to the sequel director, John Chu, there will be a reappearance of Dorothy with more screen presence. Previously talking to CinemaBlend, he has shared, “Well, we definitely did cast Dorothy. You see her in some of our teasers.”
But details about what her role entails and how much presence she would get are still a well-maintained mystery, as he asked the audience to make guesses. In Wicked,
she was played by Alisha Weir, but the cast for the sequel has not been revealed yet.

is slated for release on November 21, and fans are eagerly waiting. But Taylor Swift, who just bought back her master recordings,
