There is no end to Netflix’s long list of thriller supply. In the past few years, the platform has emerged as the top producer of many entertaining, action-based flicks and series that deliver unforgettable experiences. And besides their personal production, it is also a home and host to other theatrical releases that people want to return to again and again, long after their run in cinemas is over. Like the movie Take Back,
which often makes fans wonder about its digital whereabouts.
But can the devoted action genre fans watch this 2021 action thriller film directed by Christian Sesma on Netflix?
Can you enjoy Take Back on Netflix for your next watch?
Sticking to the theme of an exciting, fast-paced story, Take Back
is all about fighting for family. It revolves around Zara and Brian, played by Gillian White and Michael Jai White, who are a couple living a quaint, small-town life. But when a mysterious person from Zara’s past comes and kidnaps their daughter, the couple enlists the help of the sheriff, played by James Russo, and races against time to save their only child from human trafficking. But Netflix users cannot enjoy it on that platform, as it is available on Amazon Prime
.
It is also available on other platforms like Apple TV+, Tubi, and Plex. After its theater release, Take Back
was put up for video on demand and online retailers. It opened to some mixed reviews four years ago. While Guardian praised it for starting off well, taking a long time to gather momentum, Film Threat called it “a great film to relax at home with and enjoy a steady stream of light suspense and action.
” Although this Netflix disappointment could be compensated for easily.
