After a gap of two years, one of the most significant music events, the American Music Awards, returned to Hollywood this year on Sunday, May 26. Hosted by the powerhouse of performance, Jennifer Lopez, many top names from the industry graced the event and took home some big honors. But besides being dedicated to celebrating talented artists and their music from the last year, the red carpet of the AMAs also witnessed some jaw-dropping celebrity looks.

The event is over, but the fans still are not over the hot looks served by their favorite artists, who completely slayed. Take a peek at the top 10 looks that stole the evening.

1. Jennifer Lopez

Firstly, this year’s host and a style icon in her own right, Jennifer Lopez, set the event on fire with her electrical energy and performances. Moreover, she displayed a total of eight stunning looks, which ranged from a crystal-covered cutout catsuit by Michael Ngo to sleek sequinned gowns. For her other costumes, she wore a semi-sheer black Dolce & Gabbana trench coat embellished with crystals from top to bottom, a cobalt strapless David Koma gown, and a sparkling Bronx and Banco ensemble.

 Then followed them with a racy gold metal mesh dress with two hip-high slits by Mônot. She ended the night in a plunging Defaïence gown threaded with gold hardware

, and each of them suited her amazing physique flawlessly.

There has never been an occasion when Lopez has not served great looks, with the most iconic being her green Versace dress.

2. Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson, who was termed as “one of the most influential entertainers of
the modern era”

 and took home the ICON Award

, had one of the simplest
yet coolest looks. The 59-year-old proudly performed in a cropped white
Vetements jacket with a white tank top beneath it.

She sealed
this early 2000s look with baggy blue jeans and paired them with white sneakers
and a white headband. With this ensemble, the five-time Grammy winner delivered
her classic hits ‘Someone to Call My Lover’, ‘All for You’, and others.

3. Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish, who was also a presenter at the ceremony,
wore a shiny blue Bronx
and Banco Amalia gown, which reached the floor beneath her heels.

 Her dress also had a hood and plunging
neckline. Décor-wise, she kept it simple with a single ring on her left hand and a thin necklace, letting her bold look do all the talking.

4. Ciara

Singer and
songwriter Ciara Wilson, who was also presenting at the event, chose a jazzed-up
strapless chainmail dress by Bronx and Banco with high-heeled platforms.

Matching the
dress’s vibe, she sported similar bracelets on both her hands and a cross necklace
with multiple layers. She kept her short blonde her hair open with a mid part.

5. Reneé Rapp

was exeuding boss lady vibes in a shiny black GapStudio
blazer dress with a deep V-neck and a long front slit.

The singer
also delivered a live debut performance of ‘Leave Me Alone’

at the event from her upcoming second album, ‘Bite Me’. The show-stopping moment quickly garnered applause and praise from all the audiences.

6. Heidi Klum

Always the
one to dazzle at any red carpet, Heidi Klum was also present at the event, which
she attended in a deep black Stephane Rolland gown. Her dress had a long train,
and she added more power to her look with knee-high black boots.

Also
present with her on the occasion was her 19-year-old Henry Samuel, who walked
the carpet with his mother in a complementary black suit.

7. Jenna Johnson

While many
top stars like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and others were missing

, famous names
from other fields, like choreographer Jenna Johnson, graced the event.

The 31-year-old ballroom dancer served some old Hollywood glamour in her sheer beaded gown
with side cutouts and a white fluffy boa. She completed them with high
heels and a plain hair bun.

8. Aubrey Anderson-Emmons

The young

star who played the character of Lily is all grown up now and
dazzled at the AMA carpet in a floral gown.

Sporting bangs
and hair in a top bun, she kept it simple with a very thin necklace and similarly
thin bracelet, simple yet elegant.

9. Lainey Wilson

The country
singer Laney Wilson added flower themed to her signature suiting on the red
carpet. She arrived in an embroidered blazer and pants plus a matching cape.

Later taking
to the stage she braved through  wind
machine issue, and a unruly cape during her time on stage and delivered a
blockbuster performance. It also included her new song, ‘Somewhere Over Laredo’
as well.

10. Rod Stewart

While
artists like Taylor Swift lost at the event

, it turned out to be a magical
night for Rod Stewart, who was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award

at
the event.

Before he took to the stage and delivered a thank-you speech and mesmerizing performances, he arrived at the event in a brocade suit and embellished shoes. Besides the dazzling looks and amazing performances, the AMAs also featured some big moments of Jennifer Lopez’s cheeky smooch on-stage to MGK’s about-turn on the red carpet
