While everyone remembers the fan-waged war that made rivals out of old allies, Eilish and Swift, it looks like the former finally had the last laugh on the big stage, only a year later.
It is reportedly the first time Swift has been completely shut out at the AMAs since 2007 when she was nominated in only one category: Favorite Country Female Artist. Back in the day, she lost the award to Carrie Underwood. This year, she lost in five of the six categories she was nominated in—Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Female Pop Album—to Eilish.
