Meghan Markle confessed that as an entrepreneur, she is not
at all afraid to embrace the mess. “It can get messy, and the best
founders are not afraid to get their hands dirty,”
Markle told her
episode guest Heather Hasson, the co-founder of medical scrubs brand, Figs, discussing
the real picture behind running a business.
Speaking about her approach to challenging work situations, she clarified that she does not believe in playing dirty. Instead, she described herself as the first to grab a mop when there is a mess in aisle five—a metaphor for stepping up and handling problems head-on. Calling attention to her
perspective of making everyday challenges easy, she said, “How do you get
your hands involved and change the way of thinking surrounding it so it doesn’t
feel daunting?”
But this is just one aspect of her life, with the
other one running all the time on the clock as a hands-on mother of two.
