Amidst the sensational highlights that have sent viewers into a tizzy, buzz has grown on the streaming street about a Guns N’ Roses documentary on Netflix.

All about the Guns N’ Roses documentary on Netflix
According to a December report by Ragnant Media, widely cited by fans
across multiple online social media groups, Netflix announced a documentary on the famous rock band Guns N’ Roses, which was set for a March premiere.
The documentary, as reported, was supposed to explore their superstardom, journey, their ups and downs, and their influence on the music industry as a whole. However, no such documentary has been released on Netflix as of yet.
Starting from their formation to their meteoric rise in the music scene, the documentary was reportedly expected to feature interviews with key players, friends, and collaborators. Though the report made quite the fanatic rounds of the Internet with varied narratives, prompting even netizens to do a probe, a Reddit thread finally came to the rescue, seemingly confirming the unlikelihood of such happenings.
While Netflix has another music documentary slated for release this month
, the chances of a Guns N’ Roses film in the making could be unlikely because of a member’s reluctance.
Why a Netflix film on Guns N’ Roses may not materialize just yet
During a 2023 chat with Yahoo! Entertainment, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash explained he does not want a Guns N’ Roses biopic or film anytime soon. “I just don’t see it happening anytime in the foreseeable future,
” he said, aware that it does not rule out the possibility somewhat far off. Slash said that on one hand, it is a task to find actors who would represent the band members.
Then, there is the theatrical aspect of living depictions, especially in the music scene. “It’s always some fabricated, over-exaggerated, fu—– bull—-, and it’s very rare that you see a [rock biopic] movie that actually feels genuine,”
he added. While Slash feared the probability of injustice in these kinds of portrayals, having witnessed a fair share of bad ones, since a Netflix documentary is nowhere to be found despite announcements, it is possible that the band has yet to change their mind.
