Last Few Days to Catch These DC Projects on Netflix, Before ‘Superman’ Hits Theatres in July

Netflix opens the door to its content library every month. However, nearly every arrival comes with an expiry date. While some stay longer than others, some departures also frustrate more than the rest. Amidst the streamer’s record-shattering laps with its old and new content, Netflix is preparing for a super farewell to a chunky set of DC titles this month.

As the clock ticks and before David Corenswet kicks in, catch these DC titles, leaving Netflix in May 2025.

Which DC titles are set to depart from Netflix this May?

The routine addition of streaming content is a feast that keeps fans on their toes. But the monthly cleansing often ends the anticipation in brevity. So, to help viewers binge more and regret less, this is an official reminder to tune into the titles that have a limited stay. According to What’s on Netflix’s report, the

fan-favorite Justice League

seasons 1 and 2 are set to leave the streaming giant on May 8.

Additionally, Justice League: Unlimited

seasons 1 and 2 are bidding their adieus on the same day. The Batman

(Season 1-5) will also leave the streamer on May 22. While the start of May already saw Marvel titles like the Spider-Man

movie series, including Spider-Man

(2002), Spider-Man 2

 (2004), Spider-Man 3

(2007), and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

(2023) take off, time is currently ticking fast on the DC delights just ahead of Superman’s

theatrical arrival in July.

While Netflix might say time is up for these DC titles, James Gunn is fanning the flames for Superman

with renewed anticipation.

James Gunn brings an unexpected Superman update

James Gunn’s Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters is strapping in for a super show with Superman

this July. A few days ago, Gunn shared a look at Mr. Terrific in the movie on the character’s anniversary. A DC fan seized the opportunity to ask on Instagram, “Trailer 2.5?”

since speculations are growing by the minute about Superman’s next trailer as the release window inches closer. To everyone’s surprise, Gunn said that fans have yet to watch “trailer 1.0.”

Gunn referred to the December footage, which was Superman’s

record-shattering teaser trailer

. According to the director, the Superman

trailer was more of a sneak peek into what awaits fans. “I can’t wait to show you guys the trailer,”

he teased. Of course, Netflix removals might sting a bit; they always do. However, just a few fences away lies a superb silver lining, and viewers should prepare themselves just in time.
