Sebastian Stan recently stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of Thunderbolts*

and turned many heads literally. The MCU actor walked the red carpet with a shaved head, rocking some stubble on his chin and cheeks and ExtraTV caught him with him in search of answers. Stan reportedly just finished filming Fjord

in Norway, which required him to pull up with a hair makeover. 

It had barely been two days since Stan returned and the jet lag is still at a “trippy

” high. As for those unaware about Fjord

, it is Romanian Palme d’Or winner Cristian Mungiu’s first English-language feature. The tense family drama was reportedly shot for over 40 days in Ålesund. Fjord marks a departure from Mungiu’s Romania backdrops to the Scandinavian landscapes.

According to Film New Europe, GoodFellas has acquired Cristian Mungiu’s upcoming English-language feature film, Fjord

. It stars Sebastian Stan and Renate Reinsve. Written by Mungiu, the film follows two neighboring families living in a remote Norwegian village. Fjord

explores the clash of worldviews between two Scandinavian couples—Mihai, a Romanian, and Lisbet, a Norwegian, and Mats, a Norwegian, and Mia, a Swedish.

Their children’s shared school highlights the families’ differing values on education and progress. “Fjord is a story about irreconcilable views of the world, about conformity, tolerance, and the limits of freedom and intimacy,”

Mungiu said in a statement. He is producing via Romania’s Mobra Films in co-production with Why Not Productions, Eye Eye Pictures, Snowglobe Film, Aamu Film Company, and Filmgate Films.
