The Sussexes become a voice of reason against social media harms

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are continuing their New York stay, and yesterday they dedicated it to a very heartfelt cause. . On giant dummy phones, pictures of these children were displayed. Markle even took to even Instagram account to share the glimpses of this emotional evening.

Meghan Markle shared in the caption that she and Prince Harry had worked with many of these families in the past through The Archewell Foundation and supported them in this dark time through their program, The Parents’ Network. Urging the world in an immediate and urgent call to action against this evil, Markle requested that parents around the world agree upon the children’s safety from online harms, calling it a universal truth. Established by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Archewell Foundation has the motto of “show up, do good,”

which they carry forward with their community work focused on mental health and collective wellbeing. To make their efforts more effective, last year they launched the No Child Lost to Social Media campaign, where the foundation engages with parents and caregivers and educates them as much as possible on this topic. Through it, they are also trying to get legislation like The Take It Down Act to pass. Their latest commendable effort has come despite being busy with the Time Summit.

Recently, Meghan Markle proudly held hands with Prince Harry and power walked in New York for the TIME100 Summit
